A quick salute to sun, warm breezes, and hammock time . . .
Back in January, my youngest brother Jared (aka Brooklyntweed to all you knitters out there) stayed with us for a few days while teaching a workshop in Portland. He recently finished this vest, aptly named Alberta in honor of our neighborhood, and asked me to model if for him. I’m pretty reluctant to this sort of thing–especially when wearing a sweater-vest is involved (not quite my style)–and really prefer working from behind the camera. All shyness aside, I am very proud of Jared’s artistic accomplishments with knitting and photography, and am honored to be a part of his projects.
