Lindsay & Jake were married on a stunning September day, surrounded by friends, family, and orchards full of pears ready for harvest.

This intimate holiday fireside wedding at Timberline Lodge was the coziest event of the year! However, before the coziness ensued, we braved the elements for some photos in the winter-wonderland landscape of Mt. Hood. Lucky for me, Valerie and Damen were excited to get outside for photos in the snow, and we tromped around the lodge taking advantage of the contrasting textures and soft light. It was such an honor to be a part of this intimate gathering of friends and family and document the start of this couple’s married life together.
Where to begin? It has been an absolute honor to get to know Kim & Luke. These are two seriously fun-loving, genuine, and caring people! With a great vendor team & a typically stunning summer day in the Gorge, being able to document their love for each other and their family and friends in such an amazing setting was a pleasure.

Katherine & Jake met on the ski team while attending university in Virginia. Well, technically, Katherine was on the ski team & Jake was on the snowboard team. Perhaps there was a bit of the “opposites-attract” rule in effect? When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted a destination event where they could not only celebrate with their family & friends, but also spend time riding the mountain with them as well. Mt. Hood and the Silcox Hut were a perfect choice.
It was refreshing to see the excitement & passion that this couple holds for each other and the sport that brought them together. We local Northwesterners are quick to bemoan the absence of snow during a lackluster winter like this one. Being around Katherine, Jake, and their families reminded me that it’s not the conditions that matter so much as the enjoyment you get from the activity and those that you share it with. Thanks for the reminder you two, and thank for choosing me to document this time in your lives!
The Crag Rats Hut is a wonderful place for an intimate wedding in Hood River, if you don’t mind being surrounded by orchards with an amazing view. On one of the hottest days of the year, Erin & Brian celebrated with their friends and family and danced the night away as the sun slowly sank behind Mt. Hood.
Kevin & Alyson had a beautiful wedding celebration at Gorge Crest, with amazing views, lots of love, and quite a few fancy hats! (not to mention some amazing food & music) A huge thanks goes out to Aaron Courter for shooting this with me and capturing some great moments.

This Columbia River Gorge wedding at Husum Highlands B&B included all of the best aspects of the Gorge: a beautiful country setting, orchards, sweeping mountain views, good food & drink, and plenty of sunshine! When I first met Katie & Joe, we instantly bonded over our mutual love for this landscape and all that comes with it. (Including all of the awesome outdoor recreation!) It was an honor to document their wedding in this place that is so meaningful to both of us. We kept joking with each that we may end up neighbors in the Gorge one day, and I don’t think that’s too far of a stretch of the imagination. Let’s just say we wouldn’t be disappointed if that happened!
April snows were plentiful this year, turning Katie & Daniel’s Spring wedding into a white wonderland. We started the day with photos around Timberline Lodge, then headed up to 7,000 ft. on the mountain for their ceremony and reception in the quaint & gorgeously-rustic Silcox Hut.
Being avid snowboarders from sunny San Diego, Danielle & Marty loved the thought of getting married on a snowy mountain. Silcox Hut on Mt. Hood perfectly matched the bill. Their mountainside ceremony was an intimate affair with friends and family who had gathered there to spend the weekend playing on the mountain & celebrating with them. Danielle was dazzling in her gold (!) dress (Marty didn’t look too shabby either). It’s really refreshing to see a bride veer from the norm for a unique look–well done!
