Mary is a photographer-friend of ours we met in Portland years ago, and we were thrilled that she asked us to photograph her Colorado wedding. As much as we love the Northwest, after experiencing such beautiful weather in February it’s easy to see why she relocated–and don’t even get us started on the quality of the snow!

The day’s festivities were held at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs, with a stunning view of the aptly-named Garden of the Gods. The weather was so nice that a last-minute decision was made to hold the ceremony outside, which the resident deer herd seemed to be fine with. As if on queue, they showed up right as the ceremony started–definitely a first for us & a very magical moment!
